Newcastle defender Geremi has tipped the Geordies to reach the top 6 of the league by the beginning of the new year. Newcastle are currently ninth in the league but look to be improving in great strides with each game under Sam Allardyce.
"I think we are getting better all the time, even though we are still inconsistent away from home," he told the Northern Echo.
"I think we will be in the top six by the New Year because we are improving every monthâ.
"It is difficult because the manager has brought in a lot of good, young players and some experienced ones, but this will take a bit of time to settle downâ.
"When we do, I believe we have a very good squad which is capable of getting into the top sixâ.
