Manchester United are tracking Atalanta striker Manolo Gabbiadini; with club scouts preparing a dossier on the 20 year old Italian under-21 forward. Gabbiadini is very highly rated in Italy and valued at around 4.5m GBP.
Gabbiadini has a formidable goalscoring record at international level, hitting the net 10 times in only 13 games. Sir Alex Ferguson had been alerted to the youngster through his scouting network and has been scouting the Atalanta frontman for several months.<br />
Last year Gabbiadini impressed while on loan at Cittadella, but has since returned to Atalanta to battle for a first team place.<br />
United could even offer Federico Macheda in exchange for Gabbiadini.
