Everton boss eyes new striker in January

28 November 2011 - 07:37

Everton manager David Moyes is on the look out for a new striker in the January transfer window. The Toffees are looking for partners for out of form Louis Saha.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd set to hold contract talks with experienced star
  • "I think we have the core of a very good team, with good goalkeepers and defenders and some up-and-coming young lads in a good midfield, but we are just a little bit short up front," said Moyes.<br />

"If you haven&rsquo;t got someone who is going to get you 15-20 goals, you wonder what the impact might be over the course of the season."<br />

Denis Stracqualursi arrived on loan during the summer, but has failed to impress so far. It is understood that Everton scouts have been monitoring several Eredivisie games, and could make a move for Vitesse striker Wilfried Bony.
