Premier League move not an option for Lampard

Chelsea have reportedly told midfielder Frank Lampard that he is free to leave the club for a move to another country, but the Blues will not consider any offers from rival Premier League sides.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • Manchester United were last week linked with a move for the England international, but Sir Alex Ferguson rejected talk of a move for the midfielder. Lampard has fallen out of favour at the Blues as coach Andre Villas-Boas has recently assigned the midfielder to a place on the bench instead of in the first team.
Lampard earns a massive 150,000 GBP per week at Stamford Bridge and Villas-Boas is ready to let the player leave, despite having 18 months left on his current deal.
The Blues are expecting a busy few weeks, with Nicolas Anelka already departed for China; and Didier Drogba, Florent Malouda and Alex also expected to quit.
