Chelsea not planning Kalou or Drogba sale

Chelsea not planning Kalou or Drogba sale

13 January 2012 - 07:24

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has denied that the Blues are planning to sell Ivorian duo Salomon Kalou and Didier Drogba. The two are currently away for the African Cup of Nations tournament.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • "They will return to this club from the African Nations and hopefully we will hold on to them until the end of the season," Villas-Boas said of Kalou and Drogba.

"That's our intention, and I think their willingness as well."

Arsenal have been linked with a 4m GBP move for Salomon Kalou, a long term target of Arsene Wenger; whilst Didier Drogba has been linked with a move to China to link up with former team mate Nicolas Anelka.
