PSG to try again for Alexandre Pato

Paris St Germain manager Carlo Ancelotti admitted that the capital club could make a second approach for AC Milan and Brazil international striker Alexandre Pato at the end of the season. Pato very nearly joined PSG on transfer deadline day in January.

  • Paris St Germain reportedly agreed a 35 million Euro deal with AC Milan in January, but time ran out for the player and his representatives to agree terms with PSG before the transfer window slammed shut.

But Ancelotti suggested yesterday that his club could make yet another move for Pato in the coming months.

"During the winter transfer window, we looked for a striker but there were not many opportunities on the market", Ancelotti told Rai Sport.

"We liked Pato in January and we’ll still like him in June, even though our goals are different."
