Edin Dzeko heading for Man City exit?

27 March 2012 - 02:18

Edin Dzeko could be set to quit Manchester City this summer, after becoming increasingly frustrated with his lack of first team opportunities at the Etihad Stadium. Mario Balotelli and Sergio Aguero are first choice forwards.

  • Dzeko enjoyed a successful 18 months at Man City since arriving from the Bundesliga, but has fallen down the pecking order in recent weeks. Carlos Tevez has also returned from his self imposed exile, and appears to be in Roberto Mancini's long term plans for the Premier League title run in.

Juventus are believed to be on alert after hearing reports the Bosnian international wants to quit England. Meanwhile, Real Madrid are also believed to be closely monitoring Dzeko's situation.

City will be keen to recoup at least the £27 million that splashed out to bring the former Wolfsburg striker to the club.
