Everton have been linked with a shock move for American international forward Clint Dempsey. The Fulham frontman has just one year remaining on his current deal at Craven Cottage.
An impressive season for the 29-year-old attacker has seen a flurry of interest for the frontman, but the American has focused on his current duties at Fulham and has ruled out a transfer away for the time being.
However, eyefootball understands that Everton manager David Moyes is preparing a £4.5 million bid for Dempsey as soon as the transfer window reopens.
Dempsey is reportedly ready to leave Fulham as he thinks he has just one more shot at success and silverware in England before he wraps up his career.
