Norwich deny Neil Lennon approach

03 June 2012 - 13:57

Norwich City have denied talk that they will make a move for Celtic manager Neil Lennon. The Canaries last week parted ways with Paul Lambert, who joined Premier League rivals Aston Villa.

  • Chelsea set to sign Crystal Palace star for £47m
  • Man Utd aiming to beat Liverpool to 25yo midfielder
  • Norwich have been linked with a number of candidates for the now vacant role, with Chris Hughton and Steve Bruce believed to be on their shortlist.

However, chief executive David McNally denied that Celtic boss Lennon is on the radar.

"We have not approached Celtic for Neil Lennon and will not be approaching Celtic for Neil Lennon," he said.

"We have a great relationship with Celtic. If we had an enquiry we'd go straight to Celtic. Neil Lennon is a great man and a great manager."
