Fulham preparing Darren Bent bid

01 December 2012 - 06:45

Fulham's manager Martin Jol yesterday hinted that he could make a surprise bid for Aston Villa's out of favour striker Darren Bent. The England international is ready to quit Villa Park in January.

  • Chelsea transfer update on Maxence Lacroix
  • Chelsea confirm transfer of 26yo French star
  • Darren Bent has fallen down the pecking order at Villa Park, with Christian Benteke seemingly the new first choice striker.

Manager Paul Lambert has admitted that he would listen to offers for the striker, and new QPR manager Harry Redknapp has been discussing a move for the player as well.

Fulham manager Jol wants to partner Bent with Dimitar Berbatov in a new look strike force at Craven Cottage.
