Swedish forward John Guidetti is being tracked by Premier League strugglers Southampton. The Man City striker is available on loan until the end of the season.
Guidetti is very highly rated by Man City's manager Roberto Mancini, and the Italian is eager to farm out the player on loan for the rest of the season so that the Swede can garner more experience at the top level.
Guidetti has spent recent years on loan at Burnley and Feyenoord in two relatively successful spells away from the Etihad.
This year Guidetti has mainly spent time playing in the reserves, but Mancini will be willing to listen to Southampton's interest in the youngster as they consider a third loan spell for the 20-year-old.
