Agger reveals he almost quit Liverpool

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger today admitted that he almost quit the Reds. The Dane said his career was under threat after a string of injuries.

"I do not have a long time left [in my career]," Agger told Danish newspaper<em>BT</em>.<br />

"I have considered ending my career some times. I have had some serious injuries, and at times I have considered retiring.<br />

"But right now I am fine."
