Chelsea to sign Andre Schurrle

30 May 2013 - 14:17

Chelsea have agreed a fee to sign Andre Schurrle. The Blues will sign the German international on a four year contract and the player arrives in London from Bayer Leverkusen. Kevin de Bruyne heads to Bayer the other way, on loan for a season.

  • Schurrle is one of the hottest properties in German football and Chelsea have long been chasing his signature.

“We are in agreement with Chelsea. They buy [Andre] Schurrle for a certain transfer fee and in return [Kevin] de Bruyne is sent on a one-year loan,” Wolfgang Holzhauser said, a Leverkusen executive.

“I assume that Chelsea stand by what has been agreed upon.”
