Dutch international midfielder Kevin Strootman looks set to become David Moyes' first signing since becoming Manchester United manager. The PSV Eindhoven midfielder will complete a 9 million Euro move to Old Trafford.

Strootman is being brought to the club as a possible replacement for Paul Scholes who retired last season, whilst Darren Fletcher continues to suffer with a serious stomach condition and is unlikely to be a regular first team player until mid-season.<br />

The 23-year-old former Sparta Rotterdam and Utrecht player has featured regularly for the Dutch side last season, scoring 6 goals in 25 games.&nbsp;<br />

Strootman is able to play as a central midfield playmaker or as a defensive midfielder.
