Cardiff City bid for Tom Ince accepted

01 July 2013 - 04:55

Cardiff City have had a bid for Blackpool midfielder Tom Ince accepted. According to reports, Blackpool's manager Paul Ince has also offered his resignation - perhaps in light of his son's imminent departure to the Welsh club.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Midfield starlet Ince, 21, has been linked with a move to the Premier League several times over the last year, with Liverpool reportedly having an offer accepted for the youngster.

Cardiff are hoping to strengthen their squad in time for their first season back in the top flight for over 50 years.

“Cardiff have come in massively for Thomas, the chairman's accepted the offer," Paul Ince revealed on Blackpool's official Youtube channel.

“I'm not sure what the offer is because I've been away, but that's been accepted, so it's a case of when he comes back next week, Thomas, we'll sit down and see what he wants to do."

However, Tom is ready to still consider staying at Blackpool after the club's manager admitted to reporters: “He loves it here. He said to me, 'I'm in no rush to get to the Premiership, I'm in no rush to leave Blackpool’,”
