Tottenham chasing Alen Halilovic

Tottenham's direct of football Franco Baldini has reportedly approached Dinamo Zagreb regarding a transfer for 17 year old attacking midfielder Alen Halilovic. The highly rated youngster first played for Dinamo last season.

The Croatia international - who enjoyed his first cap for his country against Portugal last month - is valued at around 15 million Euros already. Zagreb have churned out talent after talent in recent years, with Halilovic's team mate Tin Vedraj also linked with a move to the Premier League. Arsenal are amongst the teams interested.<br />

The 5 foot 7 midfielder has been compared to former Croatia great Robert Prosinecki, whilst Luka Modric said that Halilovic could be the best player of his generation.
