West Ham looking for Romelu Lukaku loan move

West Ham looking for Romelu Lukaku loan move

04 July 2013 - 13:43

The Hammers are looking for a hopeful loan deal for the strong Belgian Striker Romelu Lukaku. West Ham boss Sam Allardyce will be hoping that the Blues win their battle to add more high quality targets which could help in his pursuit of youngster Romelu Lukaku according to the reports in the Daily Mirror.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Having added Andy Carroll on a permanent basis from Liverpool, Allardyce has tried to buy Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony ,but this has come to a stand still due to the asking price for the Ivory Coast International which is set at £10m for the Ivory Coast international and as such will now look to bring in Belgian Lukaku on a season long loan move.

Jose Mourinho is said to be very keen on offering the Belgian International the chance to impress and prove a point in the Chelsea first team set-up but having already signed Andre Schurrle and with the presence of Demba Ba and Fernando Torres in the squad, a further signing of an attacking option would entice Lukaku to move elsewhere looking for regular football.

The 20 year old Belgian forward notched up 17 Premier League goals for West Brom last term and Allardyce apparently sees the former Anderlecht man as an ideal partner to Andy Caroll.
