Everton asked to pay £12m for Alessandro Matri

Following an enquiry made by the Toffees for Juventus striker Alessandro Matri, the turin based club have demanded the Premier League side to fork out £12m for the player according to Mediaset.

    The 28-year-old Italian International Matri could be set to leave the Serie A champions as they plan to rebuild their squad following the signing of Carlos Tevez from Manchester City.<br />

    The talks are already on between the two clubs with Everton unwilling to match the asking price which is set at&nbsp;&pound;12m.
