Lukaku ready to welcome Rooney at the Bridge

<strong>Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku has declared that he would welcome Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney into the Blues squad if he decides to sign for them.</strong>

Lukaku, 20 year old, spent the entire lasts season on loan at West Bromwich Albion and has expressed his readiness to compete for a starting spot at Chelsea this season.&nbsp;<br />

The youngster has already impressed manager Jose Moourinho in the club's pre season tour of the Far East and is expected to be involved in the Portuguese's plans.&nbsp;<br />

Lukaku is already looking forward to the possibility of a partnership with Rooney if he does eventually sign for the Blues.&nbsp;<br />

Lukaku said: "You know when you are playing for a team like Chelsea, there is going to be competition.<br />

"I like competition. Obviously, if he does sign, it could be a good partnership but it is the manager's choice."
