Barcelona have been chasing Chelsea defender David Luiz all summer and as reported on Sunday, the Brazilian is also keen on moving to the Catalan giants. He is even willing to take a pay-cut to foster his transfer.<br />

<span class="apple-converted-space">However, as reported by Mundo Deportivo, the La Liga champions will make a move for Kompany, if a deal for either of the Premier League duo does not materialize. Kompany has been a star performer for his club, which means his transfer fee would be significantly high.<br />

So, they&rsquo;ll have to speed up their efforts to land a proven central-defender this summer, a position they have been seeking a player for over a year now.
