Southampton chasing Scott Sinclair

21 August 2013 - 00:57

Southampton are the latest team to have shown interest in Man City's wantaway winger Scott Sinclair. The former Swansea City player has been told he has no future at the Etihad Stadium by manager Manuel Pellegrini.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • The £5m rated player is desperate to make a move to a team where he will be playing regular first team football, as Man City have indicated he will be playing in only cup competitions this year. The arrivals of Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo have meant Sinclair has fallen down the pecking order.

Southampton, on the other hand, have spent big this summer bringing in Dejan Lovren, Pablo Osvaldo and Victor Wanyama; and are expected to launch another big money move for Sinclair.
