<strong>Arsenal playmaker Santi Cazorla has dismissed reports suggesting that he was the subject of a bid from Atletico Madrid.</strong>
There has been reports that Atletico Madrid were keen on bringing the Spain international back to the La Liga thiss summer but Cazorla turned down their advances in favor of staying with the Gunners.<br />
Atletico club president Enrique Cerezo has rebuffed all such rumors and insisted that they made no offer for the former Malaga star.<br />
Cazorla also voiced similar opinion over the rumors rejecting all claims of any offers made.<br />
"No because there was never anything in that," Cazorla told Marca.<br />
"Like Cerezo said, there was no offer made and I was always calm about it."
