Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has claimed that he may actually sign one player in January. The position he wishes to sign a player in has not been disclosed, but may be goalkeeper - if Jens Lehmann leaves - as expected.
Wenger, who is said to have no dearth of funds to spend in the January transfer window, does not have many openings in the squad but for one area, which he has not named.
âIt is not impossible. I donât think I will get anybody in but if I get one opportunity in one area then I will not neglect it,â the Frenchman is quoted as saying on the club's official website.
Arsenal are believed to have set aside over £25m for Wenger's personal transfer fund.
