French Intenational striker Loic Remy will reportedly make a permanent switch to Newcastle United from Championship side Queens Park Rangers in January, as per The Mirror.
The 26-year-old forward who is currently on a season-long loan agreement with the Magpies from Queens Park Rangers, is subjected to a transfer fee in the region of £6m to make his switch to the Magpies permanent.<br /><br />Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is keen to tie up the former Marseille man on a permanent deal as soon as possible, with the player having interest from several European clubs.<br /><br />The report suggests that the Tyneside outfit would find it hard to persuade Remy in staying beyond next summer, if a big club comes in for his services.<br /><br />Remy has scored five goals in as many appearances for the club this season.
