Newcastle United to sign Loic Remy on a permanent deal in January

French Intenational striker Loic Remy will reportedly make a permanent switch to Newcastle United from Championship side Queens Park Rangers in January, as per The Mirror.

The 26-year-old forward who is currently on a season-long loan agreement with the Magpies from Queens Park Rangers, is subjected to a transfer fee in the region of £6m to make his switch to the Magpies permanent.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is keen to tie up the former Marseille man on a permanent deal as soon as possible, with the player having interest from several European clubs.

The report suggests that the Tyneside outfit would find it hard to persuade Remy in staying beyond next summer, if a big club comes in for his services.

Remy has scored five goals in as many appearances for the club this season.
