Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom is reportedly inching closer to a loan switch to Championship outfit Derby County.Â
The 20-year-old has not featured for the Liverpool first-team in the league this season, and has therefore opted to make a temporary move in a bid to secure regular first-team football.
Despite being in the first team plans under Brendan Rodgers, the summer signings of defenders Aly Cissokho, Mamadou Sakho, Kolo Toure and Tiago Ilori have pushed Wisdom down the pecking order.
According to BBC Radio Derby, a loan deal between the Reds and Derby County could be agreed later today.
Wisdom joined Liverpool's youth academy from League One side Bradford City in 2008.
