Arsenal are reportedly set to renew their long-term interest in Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler, as per reports in Italy.
The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been a big admirer of the Swiss International's talents over the years, and was interested in acquiring Inler's services during his Udinese days.
The tough-tackling midfielder made a switch to the Serie A giants Napoli in 2011, and recently featured against the Gunners in the 2-0 Champions League defeat at the Emirates.
Wenger is keen on adding an extra defensive midfielder to his setup, in order to provide stiff competition to the likes of Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini for a first team spot.
Arsenal would require a transfer fee in the region of £12.5m to acquire the player's services.
