CSKA Moscow and Russian international goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev is being linked with a move to Arsenal in the January transfer window. The talented keeper is touted as one of the best young goalkeeping talents in Europe.

Milan have also been monitoring Igor Akinfeev's transfer situation and were believed to be tempted to put in a £10m offer for the Russian.



Arsene Wenger is a known admirer of the international keeper, and an offer of over £10m will tempt CSKA into a sale.



Jens Lehmann has been continuously linked with a move away from Arsenal, whilst Manuel Almunia; although impressive this year; is not being regarded as the long-term solution to Arsene Wenger's goalkeeping plans.
