Manchester United are reportedly preparing a £30m bid for Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke in January.

The Red Devils manager David Moyes is in the search for a creative midfielder during the winter transfer window, having failed in his attempts in signing the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Thiago Alcantara and Ander Herrera in the summer.<br />

According to sources in Spain, manager David Moyes is understood to have watched the talented youngster against FC Porto earlier this month, and will make a &pound;30m bid for the player on New year's day.<br />

Chelsea are also interested in signing Koke on a swap deal with on-loan Atletico shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois moving the other way.&nbsp;
