Arsenal's pursuit of a new top class striker in the January transfer window is no secret and today the Gunners' manager Arsene Wenger has now admitted that it is a struggle finding the right players to improve his squad.
Whilst the Gunners have been continuously linked with transfers for the likes of Diego Costa and Alvaro Morata, neither deal looks set to be pulled off by the Norht London side.
Wenger has often been known for his brilliance in the transfer market just as much as his distrust of the January transfer window.
Wenger said to reporters yesterday: "A club like ours to find players who strengthen our team in January, it is nearly impossible, honestly. It is not even about the money. It is just about the potential."
The Gunners are desperately seeking a new striker as Theo Walcott will be on the sidelines for the remainder of the season and Olivier Giroud has started to shown signs of fatigue.
