Arsenal are reportedly interested in securing the services of Atletico midfielder Saul during the winter transfer window, according to The Sunday People.

The report claims that the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has already held talks with the 19-year-old's agent and wants to land his signature within this month.<br />

Saul, who is currently on a season long-loan deal at Rayo Vallecano, is also being monitored by London rivals Chelsea, who are keen on signing him as a replacement for outbound Kevin de Bruyne.<br />

The Under-21 Spanish international has made 16 appearances for Rayo Vallecano in the La Liga so far.
