Arsenal take on Wigan at the Emirates on Saturday at 3pm in a game which they will be keen to win to retain their top position. Arsenal will miss Fabregas, Flamini, Diaby, Hleb and Gilberto as they look to fill in with a makeshift central midfield. The match also could see the return of Emile Heskey.
Wigan look to stay clear of the bottom of the table, and end the longest current winless run in the Premier League of 10 games and the lengthiest losing streak of seven games, whilst Arsenal look to maintain their impressive 19 game unbeaten run.
Wigan have put Steve Bruce in charge as they look to pick up crucial points after only scoring two points out of thirty since the defeat of Sunderland in August. But Bruce will not take charge today, with caretaker manager Stuart Barlow still in the hotseat.
Wenger: injury worries
"Hleb came back with a hamstring injury, so again we lose someone during this international period. I think he'll be out for 21 days.
"Flamini came back with a thigh problem too. That will be one week maximum. Gilberto will return very, very late.
"In fact he only comes back Friday. As for the rest of the squad, we'll see."

Eyefootball Premiership Predictor
Arsenal 2-1 Wigan
This will be a tough battle for Arsenal, particularly as they are likely to field a makeshift midfield with Denilson and Diarra likely to fill in. However, Wigan will struggle to get a point here, and Arsenal will be looking to continue their run at the top of the table.
Score: 2-1 to Arsenal
Goalscorer: Emmanuel Adebayor
