Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Chelsea, Odegaard starts

10 November 2024 - 10:20

Arsenal take on Chelsea in today's Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.

  • Arsenal to hijack Chelsea deal for English winger?
  • Arsenal & Chelsea battling to sign Ajax defender

  • The Gunners have slipped 10 points behind league leaders Liverpool and the upcoming London derby is a must win to stay in the title race.

    Formation: 4-2-3-1

    Predicted Line-up:

David Raya is a guaranteed start in goal for the north London giants.

Similarly, the defence should stay unchanged from the 1-0 loss at Inter.

Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Jurrien Timber are assured to continue in the back four for the Gunners.

Mikel Merino has struggled to adapt to the pace of the Premier League and he could make way for Declan Rice to partner Thomas Partey.

Rice missed the recent trip to San Siro with a broken toe, but he is expected to feature from the off in the upcoming derby at the Bridge.

In the final third, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are poised to start out wide with Kai Havertz leading the attack for the Gunners.

However, we anticipate one big change in the no.10 role with Martin Odegaard replacing Leandro Trossard, who has been poor lately.

Odegaard has played just five minutes since his ankle ligament injury, but manager Mikel Arteta could unleash him from the off today.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Chelsea: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber; Partey, Rice; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Havertz.
