German side Leverkusen to sign Iago Aspas?

12 February 2014 - 16:04

German club Bayer Leverkusen are ready to end Liverpool forward Iago Aspas' Anfield nightmare. The Spaniard is reportedly the top of their transfer wish list in the summer.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • Aspas, who arrived at Anfield from Celta Vigo for 7. 5 million euros in the summer of 2013, has so far struggled to force his way into Brendan Rodgers' first team due to the impressive form of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge. Aspas is ready to quit Anfield after just 8 months and has supposedly opened talks with his agent who is actively hoping to broker a deal with Bayer Leverkusen. The German club's sporting director, Rudi Voeller, is ready to pay up to 6 million euros to sign Aspas.
