Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could make a surprise move for Lyon forward Jimmy Briand. The Frenchman has already told his club that he would like to move to England in the summer.

Briand has so far found himself under utilised by manager Remi Garde and will now look for a move elsewhere. The Gunners have already told manager Wenger that he has a budget of 819260 million to spend on new talent in the summer and Arsenal are ready to spend 81925. 75 million to sign Briand as competition for Lukas Podolski, Yaya Sanogo and Olivier Giroud.
