Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, according to Marca.

The Marca claims the Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on signing up the talented French striker, should the club qualify for the Champions League next term.



However, Liverpool are set to face a transfer tussle during the summer, with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City also monitoring the player's transfer situation.



Benzema has recently insisted that he is happy at the Bernabeu amidst speculation of a move away from the club.



The 26-year-old has been capped 64 times by the French national side.
