Queens Park Rovers are readying a move for former Manchester United defender Harry Redknapp. The 35-year-old is currently out of contract and is seeking a move to a Premier League club.

Rio Ferdinand has struggled in recent months with injuries and is now set to join a team away from Man Utd with Harry Redknapp keen to sign up the former England international.

The free agent is apparently looking for a club that will offer him a 2 year contract and Redknapp's side are amongst the teams preparing a suitable deal for the defender.

QPR were promoted back to the Premier League last weekend.
