  • The Spaniard, who spent last season on loan at Napoli, is believed to have attracted interest from a host of clubs in the past few days, following reports that the shot-stopper would not sign for the Serie A outfit on a permanent deal.

According to Metro, the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is willing to make a bid in the region of £5m for the Reds keeper, as he aims to bring in competition for current number one Wojciech Szczesny.

Reina joined Liverpool from Villareal in 2005.
