Arsenal to sign Pepe Reina on a cut-price deal

Arsenal are reportedly preparing a summer offer for the services of Liverpool Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina, according to Metro.
The Spaniard, who spent last season on loan at Napoli, is believed to have attracted interest from a host of clubs in the past few days, following reports that the shot-stopper would not sign for the Serie A outfit on a permanent deal.
According to Metro, the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is willing to make a bid in the region of £5m for the Reds keeper, as he aims to bring in competition for current number one Wojciech Szczesny.
Reina joined Liverpool from Villareal in 2005.
