Chelsea are reportedly preparing a summer move for Bayern Munich midfield sensation Toni Kroos, according to The Star.
The talented German international had been constantly linked with a summer exit from the Bundesliga champions, with Manchester United keen on landing his services.
However, the arrival of Louis van Gaal as boss at the Mancunian giants dissolved the club's interest, with the Dutchman not a big fan of the German international's talents.
The Star claims that Blues manager Jose Mourinho has identified the 24-year-old as a top transfer target for the summer, as he aims to bolster the club's midfield options for the next season.
It is understood that Bayern Munich are seeking at least £20m for Kroos.
