Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal is ready to quit the Emirates Stadium for a move back to his home country. The Spanish left back could replace Filipe Luis at Diego Simeone's side.

The Gunners, who have recently played Kieran Gibbs as first choice left back, could sell Monreal for a fee of around 9 million euros. Monreal has struggled for first team football and is struggling to pick up the English language and Arsene Wenger could sell the defender.

The former Malaga left back is considering a move out of the Emirates in order to cement a place in Spain's international squad.
