Atletico Madrid have made a bid for Liverpool defender Daniel Agger. The Danish defender is currently very much in demand and linked with an Anfield exit.
Atletico have tabled a reported 9 million euro opening offer for the centre back, which has been rejected by Brendan Rodgers' side. With Dejan Lovren expected to play first choice defender this season, Agger appears eager to leave Anfield. Atletico coach Diego Simeone is desperate to wrap up a deal for a centre back before the start of the new season.
