Fenerbahce preparing shock move for Man Utd star

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are reportedly readying a surprise swoop for Manchester United striker Robin van Persie.

  • The Dutchman has been sensational form since joining the Red Devils from Arsenal in the summer of 2012, and has amassed a tally of 48 goals in 76 games for the club until now.

    However, the Netherlands skipper is believed to be unhappy over the arrival of loan signing Radamel Falcao at Old Trafford.

    According to Turkish daily Hurriyet, Fenerbahce will try to lure Van Persie to Istanbul through his fellow countryman Dirk Kuyt.

    Van Persie is yet to score for the Red Devils this season.
