Stuttgart general manager Fredi Boric has revealed that the club whatever possible to keep hold of their star asset in Antonio Rudiger.
The talented defender has caught the eye of a host of European clubs in the summer, and is considered as a prime target for United boss Louis van Gaal during the winter transfer window.
Despite the reported interest, Boric is hopeful of convincing the 21-year-old in staying put with the Bundesliga outfit.
"Rudiger is a first-team player of our club," He said. "There are many attempts from clubs to persuade him to leave our club, and it's definitely not an easy thing for the player to resist these offers.
"We have said we are out to keep him at Stuttgart and it will be tough. Still we want to hand him a great future at our club."
Rudiger has earned 2 caps for the German national side.
