Arsenal are reportedly free to talk to Manchester City midfielder James Milner over a potential transfer to the club in January.
The talented midfielder is currently regarded as a fringe player by manager Manuel Pellegrini, and is considering his future away from the Etihad.
According to TalkSPORT, the Gunners could make the move for the England international given their lack of a strong midfield enforcer in the squad, having failed to materialise a deal for Real Madrid star Sami Khedira during the summer.
Milner joined the Citizens from Aston Villa in the summer of 2009.
