Liverpool could make a stunning move for Juventus midfield sensation Paul Pogba, as they seek a replacement for club-captain Steven Gerrard.
Pogba joined the Italian giants from Manchester United in the summer of 2012 having been snubbed from the first-team by former boss Alex Ferguson.
Latest reports reveal that the Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on finding a suitable replacement for skipper Gerrard, who is approaching the end of his glorious career at Anfield.
In addition to this, Pogba is believed to be the prime target and the Merseysiders are willing to pay as much as £60m in order to seal his services.
Liverpool host arch-rivals Everton in their next Premier League fixture on Saturday.
