Arsenal's out-of-favour striker Lukas Podolski has expressed his desire to leave the club in the next transfer window.
The World Cup winner has failed to start for the Gunners in the Premier League this season, with manager Arsene Wenger opting for summer signings in Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck for the striker's role.
Podolski has now hinted that he could seek pastures elsewhere should he fail to attain a regular starting berth in the Gunners line-up.
"I have assessed my position in the team and it has to change now." He said. "Let's see what happens in the winter. The fact is I am not happy about it, that is clear."
