Sunderland have made a bid to sign Croatian midfielder Alen Halilovic on loan from Barcelona.The talented young midfielder only joined the Catalan side last summer, but has yet to force his way into manager Luis Enrique's plans.
The Spanish side are now considering offers for the player and are willing to let him leave on loan for around 150,000 euros. The Black Cats' manager Gus Poyet is hopeful that a deal will be completed in the January transfer window.
