Man Utd target Dybala hopes to join Barcelona

03 March 2015 - 12:54

Argentine striker Paulo Dybala, who plays for Palermo in the Serie A, has admitted that joining Barcelona will be a dream come true for him.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The talented 21-year-old attacked has been in red hot form this season and has already scored 12 and created 7 goals for Palermo. This hasn't gone unnoticed and European giants including Manchester United have enquired about his availability.

But, the Argentine's latest admission will throw a spanner in the hopes of all these clubs. The prospect of linking with his national team player and one of the world's best players, Lionel Messi, may have swayed his mind.

Dybala has a long term contract with his current club until June 2016 and the club president Maurizio Zamparini recently indicated that only a mammoth offer will part the club with the player.

Barcelona are currently under a transfer ban and cannot sign any players until 2015. This makes things interesting as an offer in the range of €40 million may tempt the club to sell him. Money is not a problem for United but with his latest comments, Dybala may have made it difficult for them.
