Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that the club will not be on the search for defensive recruitments this summer.

  • The Gunners boss has been criticized for failing to shore up his back-line in recent seasons.

According to Evening Standard, Wenger has dismissed talks of a move for a new centre-back, as he is happy with what he has at disposal at the club.

He added that the club have Nacho Monreal, and Mathieu Debuchy to fill the void in central defence, should the likes of Gabriel Paulista, Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny face time on the sidelines.

Arsenal host Swansea City in the Premier League later tonight.
